Default "Rise" quest help

Okay so I've been repeating the quest Rise over and over for gold and War supplies, however sometimes I seem to get over-run very easily while other times I complete it very easily. I was wondering if there's any "fool proof" way or tips to complete the quest fast or complete it without getting over-run every time? I know some people might be thinking "lolwtf? why is he dying?" But if I'm missing anything please let me know.

Foolproof way - do the 1st quest that has you as kieran and its possible to avoid all but 3 or 4 mobs , just timing an run past mobs works.Actually there was a post ages ago about farming the quest as it can take between 4 and 6 mins to do - takes a spot of practice tho and i can say its an easy farm and easier than rise.

Oh really? What's the name of that quest? I'm gonna have to look into it and try it. I'd love to get a link to that post too if you could find it? Thanks

I believe http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Auspicious_Beginnings is the quest he is referring to. And yes, this quest is much easier and gives much more room for error than Rise, while still being able to complete it quickly. I usually average roughly 5-6 mins per run since I usually kill 4-5 mobs unless I get perfect spawns :P

Also, don't forget you get 1250 Vanguard rep points per run which is a nice bonus.

Ah okay thanks, maybe I should try that quest instead. Rise was frustrating me and boring me at the same time. Is there some sorta "guide" to that quest or is it just, try and avoid as many mobs as possible?

Just did a quick search, here's the link to a thread with a video... I pulled 5-6 minute runs by keeping Miku throughout the run, so the video's method would definitely be faster.

Thank you. Yeah I managed to find it too after I posted, I guess I'm gonna have to learn how to do it because there seems to be a certain technique.
